Your privacy matters to us. EXAMORA does not sell your personal data. We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a great learning experience.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your school and state.
Learning Data: We collect your exam results, study streaks, scores, subjects, and usage patterns to personalize your experience and show you analytics.
Device Information: We collect basic device info (OS, browser type) for app optimization.
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details — only a payment reference and subscription status.
Content You Create: Notes, flashcards, and AI chat history are stored to sync across your devices.

- To analyze aggregate usage patterns (never individual tracking for ads)
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
When you interact with NOVA (our AI tutor), your messages are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) for processing. We do not use your AI conversations to train AI models. Conversations are stored temporarily to maintain session context and may be reviewed by our team for quality improvement — always in anonymized form.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Firebase/Google: For authentication and database storage
- Paystack: For payment processing
- OpenRouter: For AI model inference (your messages only, not personal data)
All third-party providers are required to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
If you use School Mode, your teacher can see your exam scores and progress within the class. Teachers cannot see your private notes, chat history, or billing information.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytical purposes.

EXAMORA is designed for students of all ages. For users under 13, we recommend parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data from children without parental consent.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and access controls. While we strive to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.
